MOMO MULLINGS
Momo Mullings (they/she/he) is an interdisciplinary Liberian-Jamaican writer and artist devoted to the strange and ominous. Their work takes chunks of flesh and bone and asks the viewer to find it beautiful.
They were one of two poets chosen to represent the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in the 2019 Baltimore Book Festival’s University Writers Series.
They create a monthly newsletter on Substack called Be Soft, Write Feral. They are the founder of Black Zine Archive (@blackzinearchive on Instagram).
Their work has been published in giallolit, High Shelf Press, Burning Jade Magazine, SWWIM, and Inkwell Black.

MacKenzie River Foy
MacKenzie River Foy (she/they) is a multi-disciplinary artist, writer, culture worker and archivist living on unceeded Piscataway territory in what is known as Baltimore, MD. She is the founding creative director of Village X, a culinary fiction studio producing zines and short films, and a Valerie J. Maynard Foundation Intern at the Baltimore Museum of Art. Working full time as a digital media strategist, most of MacKenzie's days are spent developing communications campaigns and producing news stories. In defiance of the number of hours in the day, they have also made time to write, direct and assist dramaturgs for plays at the Georgetown University Black Theatre Ensemble, Arena Stage in DC, and the Public Theatre in NYC.

Muhyi Ali (She/They) a Black queer creator and filmmaker specifically dedicated to the storytelling of their communities.
Born and raised in Teaneck, New Jersey, the arts have always been a necessary outlet of expression for Muhyi. With both a Bachelor's and Masters in Fine Arts Muhyi set out to join together, improve, enlighten, and grow their own community through media.
Muhyi has been humbled to explore multiple avenues of media, that represent their community in the most authentic ways possible. They are the creator of AfroTwin Productions, a media company dedicated to sharing the narratives of those systemically marginalized. Muhyi took proactive steps to address the lack of coverage on women and non-binary experiences by launching a resource community and podcast called "Always In Bloom" Through this platform, they not only amplify their stories but also share their own experiences through diverse forms of media.
Najah S. Bayyan (aka NajahBNajah) is a featured Spoken Word Artist, Actor & Former Open Mic Host. Raised between Los Angeles, CA and Baltimore, MD, Najah was an avid reader brought up with an interest in the performing arts. In 2016, she published her chapbook, "The Men Who’ve Kept Me Busy". In 2023, Najah shifted into acting and debuted as Mayme in "Intimate Apparel," at Fells Point Corner Theater, Gingy in "Love, Loss, and What I Wore," in 2024 at Vagabond Players. She recently performed as Dr. Lakeisha Edmondson in the play, "Baltimore: In Recovery," for the Char City Fringe Festival. Najah has also recently ventured into playwriting, as her short play, "All The Things You Never Saw," has been selected by Two Strike Collective 2024 Brown Sugar Bake-Off Play Festival.
Gayle Carney is currently understudying the role of Bertha in Joe Turner’s Come and Gone at the Chesapeake Shakespeare Company. Gayle has completed an animation project of “Get Your Hands Out of My Pocket.” Also, Gayle has performed in a virtual staged reading of “Compromised” for Stockton University. Michael Changwe is a Baltimore/DMV based actor. His recent roles include Charlie the Robot in ‘A Computer That Loves’ with Baltimore Rock Opera Society (BROS), ‘The Codeswitch’ with Sisters Freehold and as Joseph Asagai in ‘A Raisin In The Sun’ with Spotlighters Theatre. Outside of performing arts, he enjoys web development and cheering on D.C. sports (go Nationals!) He is grateful for this opportunity and wants to give a special shoutout to his friends and family for supporting his dreams!
Brittany Erica has had a deep love for theater since high school, where she first discovered her passion for acting in the 11th grade, starring as a juror in the play, Twelve Angry Jurors. Since then, her theatrical journey has spanned 13 years, during which she has portrayed a wide range of dynamic characters. Some of her notable roles include Annelle in Steel Magnolias, Samiya Cannon in The Gift of Family, Laura Baker in Whose Wives Are They Anyways, and Frances in Five Women Wearing the Same Dress. In addition to her stage performances, Brittany has made a significant impact by bringing African American historical figures to life through re-enactments in her local community. She is particularly recognized for her portrayal of Edmonia Goodelle Highgate, the first Black teacher at the Hosanna School in Darlington, MD. She has reprised this role in various educational and community settings. Brittany is truly committed to her craft and believes that storytelling is a powerful medium for connecting with the audience, whether it is through a farce to a re-enactment. She credits much of her success to the unwavering support of her family and friends, whose belief in her God-given talent has been a constant source of encouragement throughout her journey. With each new role, Brittany continues to grow as an artist, ever eager to share her passion and inspire others through the transformative power of theater.

Kayla Manigault (She/Her) is a Baltimore based actor & educator. She has performed and worked with various theatres in the Baltimore area such as Strand Theatre Company, Two Strikes Theatre Collective & Baltimore Centerstage. When not acting, she’s busy teaching middle school ELA.
Breanna Stewart (she/hers) is a Baltimore interdisciplinary artist. For the last six years she has been working with fellow artist on development of new theatric pieces. She has performed with the Fells Point Corner Theatre, she's participated as a stage direction reader in the Horticulture Playwrights Workshop, and was a company member with The Oven Theatre Company.
